The child (Prince), the victim of his own anger, is a rising musician in Minneapolis with his band The Revolution, who escaped from a stormy life homeless through music. While trying to make the same mistakes as his Trucuitulent father (Clarence Williams III), the child navigates in the club scene and a difficult relationship with the captivating singer Apollonia (Apollonia Kotero). But another musician, Morris (Morris Day), is trying to steal the center of the boy’s attention and his girl.
